Deep down in the primeval forests of Deep Cove, things have been stirring. Strange new sounds having been emanating from a secret rehearsal room, somewhere off Deep Cove Road. Over the past few months regular rehearsals of a new/old band have been underway. New songs, old songs, different songs have been getting the Celtic Cowboys treatment.

Why do I say new/old band? I’m glad you asked. Because that’s what I want to talk to you about. We have a new line-up, we have a new sound. Owen is now playing drums/percussion and magic pipes…at the same time! Paul is stepping forward to sing lead on most songs (God help us all!) James has bought at least one new Ukelele.

And…here’s the big news. Celtic Cowboys now features Dave Crowe, vocalist, musician and bon viveur…a legend in his own lunchtime. Dave plays (count them) guitar, harmonica, and accordion!

Dave has brought along his good friend, Mister Bass Man, Dale Lot. Dale gives us a much-needed boost in the lower register, and he sings! So as you might guess this new lineup packs a punch. We have introduced a ton of new songs, most of which you are highly unlikely to hear in local establishments…that is unless you come to watch us. Once all this dicking around with Covid is over we plan to get this new line-up in front of as many people as possible.
